The size of the foot is making that difficult, so I pivoted to just "general crushiness" but I still want it to visually translate.

These are getting crushed under a titan's foot as it steps on them, thus the sledgehammer to simulate weight at scale. I just can't decide if they need to be more crushed, or if this reads as "just stepping on to".

I'm using an Elegoo Neptune 3 Pro at .2mm for the structure and I'll be using an Elegoo Saturn at 0.05mm when I start the armor panels and other detail bits.
I'm trying for a balance of speed to detail.

I've been a little quiet lately, but that's because I've been getting this monstrosity prepared for printing. The voices of the Warp have spoken and they demand a vessel. Not just any vessel but a 40k scale Warmaster Iconoclast Titan. Yes, I have gone quite insane.
Does something this large even count as a "miniature" anymore?

Knight Tyrant Complete!
Weather finally cooperated enough to allow for varnishing of 'Sardonic Feculence.' All that was left to do was to apply some Blood for the Blood God and Nurgle's Rot technical paints to achieve a suitably blood/pus-filled look.
Next on the painting desk: 'Slaughter's Serenity,' my Khorne Knight-Castigator. 'Death of Duty' is short!

Custom Skullmaster on Juggernaught
Just an update, but I reposed the rider and gave him a sword! I'm pleased with this one compared to the "surfer" motif I originally posed... that and it hides the terrible sins I had to do to the model's hips to get this pose working.

First Attempt At Decals
Okay, so that's a bit of a lie. I've done decals before but it was longer than I care to admit ago. Anyway, they process: decal in water, water on model, decal to model, allow to dry, MicroSol on decal, smooth decal, allow to dry (repeat if needed), matte medium on and around decal, shades to blend and make grungy. I think it turned out great and wasn't too much fuss.

Holiday War Dog Party!
Happy Slaaneshmas 40k fans! This Holiday season I've been working on a mini-pack of Moirax-pattern War Dogs. These are held together with blu-tac right now, but I'm happy with the results. I need to use clay to smooth out the basing but they're ready to prime when the weather cooperates.

Cheeky-Pose Coldstar Commander
Took a small break from the Chaos Knights to build and pose this Coldstar Commander for my buddy's T'au Empire army. He offers peace with one hand and destruction with the other. Please don't ask me what it's armed with, I don't think even GW really knows what T'au guns look like.

Big Robots Need Big Axes
Haven't posted anything in a bit, because I was taking a break to keep from burning out while brainstorming what to do with the Cerastus Castigator. I wanted it to be Khorne-themed but the Tempest Blade just didn't work for that IMHO... then it clicked, smash-axe!

Sardonic Feculence Stands Tall!
More progress on the Nurgle Knight Tyrant! I won't finish it completely tonight, but he will be far enough along to attend Tanksgiving tomorrow at the local GW. Still to do: trim on the upper carapace; gun housing stuff; so, so much oozy goo; and hide more Nurglings around the frame!

Two More War Dogs Join the Pack!
Another Executioner and a Brigand assembled and table-ready. I have a few more bits and bobs, small details really, to take care of before I'm satisfied with them. The heads are just held in by friction at this time. But I have a game scheduled tomorrow so these two might be hitting the table anyway!

Nurgle Knight Coming Together
I buckled down and did more green-stuff work today. I think the Knight Tyrant is almost ready for priming (we'll see if the weather agrees). I also tried the PVA + superglue trick to make some 'fleshy' bits to blend the tentacles to the chassis, I'll need to see it primed to find out how well that worked.

Trying Something New
So for the Knight Tyrant I've put together a Rhino to act as a scenic base. The plan is to paint it as a Dark Angels tank (My buddy plays Dark Angels). So I'm putting down an initial metallic layer with rusting and then I plan to try the hairspray & salt chipping method.
