Google employees protest while still being employed these people didn't have the guts to do it while employed.

A palantír is one of several indestructible crystal balls from J. R. R. Tolkien's epic-fantasy novel The Lord of the Rings. The word comes from Quenya palan 'far', and tir 'watch over'. The palantírs were used for communication and to see events in other parts of Arda, or in the past.

It is in the name.

I still haven't played Alyx, I am waiting for better and cheaper VR before playing it.

Windows was always garbage to be honest, windows 7 was the best release in my opinion. You are correct though it is way worse these past months. By the way does your mouse lag when the update notification comes up?

Each country have their own regulations, in the past it was easier these days it is way harder to buy and believe me I know many exist that doesn't make it easier for children to buy. Monero for example is very hard to buy, swapping with another crypto coin is easier than buying it from a crypto exchange.

This is why I posted it not the ChatGPT part, but kids basically investing in the stock market. You are correct though the article is horribly written.

I am aware you can create an address without any verification, but purchasing it is difficult in some countries. Maybe he used local bitcoin before it was shutdown.

The price of bitcoin 7 years ago was 9200, I doubt he had a lot of money when he was 8 years old, the question is how did he make an account to buy bitcoin?

I doubt they would care about Lemmy, there is hardy anyone on manga@ani.social compared to /r/manga. Posts of One Punch for example have over a 100 comments while on manga@ani.social there is no comments. If manga@ani.social becomes popular they will probably go after it, now it is probably not worth the hassle.

I remember Google+ in the past, it was a great source of information, now my source of information became reddit. Like /r/stocks, /r/anime_titties, /r/programming, or even niche like nier automata fan subreddit. I wish we have other sources, I miss when internet forums were everywhere and you could find forum for every topic.

As soon as I make an account and try to post a comment or something. I get "server error" which is basically a ban.
