Imagine, the day he dies, Elon rules out Trump AI designed to continue his legacy forever, term limits won’t matter because it’s not a person.

Because we are the wolf we feed, or the monster - if we lean into fetishizing entire races, we justify that behavior and reenforce it, normalizing reducing an immutable trait into a sexual characteristic. Vs thinking "hey maybe I shouldn't be spending all my time looking at only BBC-worship photos because it fucks up the way I treat black men" etc (to use one that comes up in the gay community a lot).

I am of the mind that it's not healthy to be ashamed or upset by what turns us on, but that we shouldn't intentionally try to get problematic with it either, as sex can get compulsive pretty quick. So don't fetishize races.

Also a very specific lab-made meme genotype and a line of candles from Bath and Body Works

There are tiny-home dwellers but they're often highly educated professionals who decide to live Buddhist for a while. Some of them wind up enjoying it.

The better analogy for homeless folks would be living in cars, aka the invisible homeless - is this better than that? Fuck yes. Even if it WAS permanent it's better than that.

I'm going with "having hundreds of billions of dollars in money, property, and art, but letting people die of easily preventable things Jesus would have obviously done"

Anything that uses a standing pilot light these days is vented to ensure CO2 exposure is minimal. Pilots kick off enough heat to warm the vent itself and cause a stack effect, pulling the exhaust out. My fireplaces use pilot lights and you can use incense smoke to see the updraft (although that incense smoke is of course carcinogenic).

Random positive things about being gay: liking the way you smell enough to stay in bed curled up with yourself

I have a friend who's losing the battle with cancer right now and I didn't really appreciate how bad it would be. Both the cancer itself, and having this much forewarning. I would rather it be quick and surprise. For my sake lol screw everyone else

The Atlantic has a great piece this month about how we saying the judicial system split in two, Watch for more of this and increasing penalties, some of them won’t be let out of jail eventually. And we’ll just be disappearing our political opponents.

Yep, I have C-PTSD and I’m being treated, but starting Semaglutide suddenly drained all the power out of my physical anxiety, It’s a bit amazing.

Other Interesting notes:

  • improved sense of smell (I am smelling plants and grasses I haven’t smelled since childhood).
  • Horny? Horny. Oh yes.

I like Ted Danson, but I barely got through the first season of this, it was just too slow and felt a little like it was written for a 75 year-old stroke victim. Very “Let’s explain this three times so everyone understands it.”
