Is this a 2yo write up, considering the last update was in 2023?

Well yes, but how did we get here? The same forces that brought us are still working to keep wage slavey alive and well.
Free movement of capital, weakened unions and ceaseless propaganda pitting people against each other (welfare queens, immigrants are taking your jobs, eating the cats and dogs, work harder and you’ll be rich too, these other people are lazy, stupid, bad genes, wrong religion, the rich are better/smarter than you etc) - that’s how that happened.
There’s only one enemy and it’s not other wage earners.
The reason why the job market sucks is that unions got defanged and international capital movement freed from the 80s onwards.
That’s why life for working people took 3 steps backwards compared to our parents and grandparents who could buy a house, go on holidays and have a boat on a factory wage. While we are going to have trillionaires soon and the only thing that’s cheaper is the fuel of capitalism: telecoms and wages.
The problem has never been another wage earner - the problem is pitting us against each other and us taking the bait.
They need some starter packs like BlueSky because all I’m seeing are some art photography highly likely ai generated - and I have no idea where to find content that has any value. On searching the hashtags I’m getting mastodon posts containing links that can’t be clicked.
That’s funny. But the glass is not in a superposition, the answer to the question is. It’s a glass that contains water and is just sitting there observable by all probably sick of being subject to stupid questions that have no meaningful answer.
Yes. If the next action is to add it’s half full, if to remove it’s half empty. If nothing then it depends on the previous actions.
Exactly - or the next action. The question “is the glass half full or empty” is a false dichotomy, the answer is: it is impossible to know without further info.
he is not anti immigrant he’s only anti illegal immigrant.
You thought “they’re poisoning the blood of our nation” was talking about illegal immigrants only?
Are you stupid or just bigoted against everyone else because you think you are too established to be thought as “other”?
Conservatives be conservatying no matter the skin color - until they come for them.
Let’s just say that deep and systemic thinking is not a conservative voter’s strong point. Every problem is individual and can be solved individually by individuals. Nothing is real until it happens to me.
I also think people should be free to sign contracts to become lifelong slaves of other people.
After all everyone’s circumstances are identical, same genetic lottery and are born with equal opportunity of money, mind, health, physical ability, family and geography.
Exploitation? Sign away.
Hidden terms in obscure language? Sign away
Forced circumstances? Sign away
Asymmetric power imbalance? Sign away.
Debt slavery? Sign away.
Selling your children? Sign away.
That’s true freedom.

There’s no contradiction here.
With high value art you definitionally buy a story not the content. Without a certificate of authenticity or a story that goes with it there is no story and no value to it.
With K Dick’s example the two lighters would become of different but equivalent value, perhaps the new value is in the story of how two identical copies and yet different came to be.
You could 3d scan the statue of David and reproduce it down to its tiniest detail. And yet the copy is only worth as much as the cost to make it or even less, while the original is invaluable.
You can see the Mona Lisa on your phone any time you want and yet millions will take the trip to the Louvre to see what is most likely not even the original.
The story and the history of an object is what you purchase when buying art or antiques of high value.
