Low profile key switches have the obvious advantage of being smaller than MX switches…but the problem is that silent options, especially if you’re into tactile switches, are seemingly nonexistent unless I’m missing anything?

Oh nice. Someone else suggested socks, which does feel ridiculous but hey, if you're using an ergo keyboard you're past that point.

You could try using conical rubber bumpers to create an angle, or I’ve seen adhesive laptop stands that folks have used for tenting keyboards that I wonder if they would work for wrist rests too.

The only problem I’ve had with them is that they leave a little grid mark on your hands after a while, but they’re solid for flat keyboards.
