The problem I have with k-pop is that it sounds the same and it way to overtuned and in addition to that the rabid k-pop fandom factions, especially the ones that have Anti-Japanese sentiment

k-pop can still be bad even when it's better then american slop

k-pop fans are very toxic and some of them even harbour Anti-Japanese sentiment which is a racist & misinformed sentiment

I'm not accusing the entire k-pop fandom of being like this but their are obviously factions within the fandom who can be very vocal and very hateful fueled by anger & negativity

Edit: typo that changed the meaning of what I was saying

I listen to Japanese music but I'm also learning Japanese

But music shouldn't be relied upon for learning Japanese because the pitch accent can be changed and wording is not standard in music because it can be changed to fit with the song

It can also be hard to hear words clearly unless you know them

Id personally consider foreign music you don't understand to be instrumental only music like the voice was an musical instrument which it can technically be considered a musical instrument

Chance they opened sourced it because people pretty much figured it out by reverse engineering

Does Microsoft have newer code that's still closed source, is this old code ?

Could they open source an old inefficient method while keeping the up to date efficient methods to themselves

For example if I wanted to search for things that contained the words "Japanese" & "countryside" on Google I'd use

intext:("Japanese" & "countryside")

Does the thunder app support something like search operators for searching on lemmy

Which Georgia ?

The actual country or america

Please don't start american defaultism on lemmy

But I'm assuming it's the country due to the dish name

A good tip is to use recipes actually from a local or person who grew up in the country

Don't use some random persons recipe

For Japanese recipes I recomend.

Sites I've found from locals or people who grew up in Japan but don't know if I'd recommend them yet:

Also use Metric, us Customary / Imperial has no place in recipes because it can't reproduce a recipe accurately and should have stopped being used some time in the 1700's-1800's

A scale isn't expensive either

To answer your question, I'm live in Australia I don’t have a local food that a favourite of mine unfortunately

I prefer Japanese food to my own countries food

They're also transphobic and where whinging on one post about being censored

Apparently consequences for being a bigot is censorship for them

It's especially worser when it's complex wording

When I'm reading stuff or listening to someone say something sometimes I won't be able to think about it even though I can read fine or hear the person fine

My mind just goes empty and I can't really think or mentally process stuff and will just be stuck there with an empty mind

I'm tired of seeing american news spam and reich wing american politician spam on lemmy everytime I open it up especially when I don't even live there

It's why I want a filter that I can turn on and off so I can have it on by defualt and not see that spam but still be able to turn it off when I want to be aware of whats happening in america

I'm not american and I live in Australia and I hate trump as much as you all do but I'm sick and tired of seeing trump spam whenever I open lemmy

So they look incredibly similar to another missing person and are mistakingly identified as the other person and the hospital later finds out they've made a mistake after they're back with the other person's loved ones / family and they don't notice the difference

What would happen and has this happened before

So I put the recipient address on the letter but don't put a return address and don't put on a stamp

What would happen
