Ah, US... where even running away from a fire is dependent of having money.
Okay, full disclosure, if I run (I'm a few blocks east of the Mandatory Evacuation Zone but it's blowing the other way) it's going to be to a hotel, but there is free shelter available.
But CalFire has maps and LAFD has been pinging me all day with updates that also have maps.
All free.
KCAL9 has dropped all their regular programs to run reports from the field, and I don't think I've seen a single commercial.
