That dude should not have a moment of peace and quiet until he stops ruining peoples lives.

[–] lectricleopard@lemmy.world 119 points 4 days ago (4 children)

Until he pays the karmic debt. He already has a lifetime to pay for his cruelty.

[–] vaultdweller013@sh.itjust.works 40 points 4 days ago (2 children)

Honestly if he offed himself I'd consider it a first step, though I don't know if there's anything of worth to harvest from his corpse.

Billionaires only drop rare loot

[–] vaultdweller013@sh.itjust.works 20 points 4 days ago

Rare doesn't necessarily mean good, Musks head shape may be rare but that's only because inbreeding is generally considered bad.

Scientists could blenderize his brain to assess the long-term effects of ket.

[–] TrojanRoomCoffeePot@lemmy.world 15 points 4 days ago (1 children)

I'm not as familiar with the whole theology involved, but still am pretty sure he'll have to weather a few cycles as whatever multi-legged miniature vermin that insects eat before he can break back into the mammalian strata. He can't possibly be acting like such a gigantic piece of shit accidentally, can he?

[–] pennomi@lemmy.world 14 points 4 days ago (2 children)

He’s always been an asshole, but his reported ketamine addiction compounds with his Twitter addiction. The ketamine allows his brain to reform pathways and Twitter boxes him into a self-made echo chamber. Combined this is the perfect recipe for a god complex, and boy does that prediction fit the observed outcome.

[–] Geetnerd@lemmy.world 8 points 4 days ago

It's also rumored he fired the PR team that kept this shit under wraps, in the past.

[–] TrojanRoomCoffeePot@lemmy.world 5 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Huh, TIL that he was into K. I thought that he was just an oddball because of his weird upbringing and fuckwad entitled bourgeois attitude.

[–] cecilkorik@lemmy.ca 7 points 4 days ago (2 children)

No he's admitted it, although he claims he has a prescription and it's for depression.

You can get a prescription for ketamine? Jesus Christ, and this whole time I've just been using coffee, alcohol, tobacco, hash, and whatever psychedelic I can get my mitts on...

[–] pennomi@lemmy.world 4 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Prescription or no, it’s not healthy to dive into Twitter so heavily right after doing psychedelics - you’re retraining your brain on the shittiest content available.

[–] futatorius@lemm.ee 2 points 3 days ago

right after doing psychedelics

Ketamine's a dissociative (similar to PCP), not a psychedelic.

[–] ShaggySnacks@lemmy.myserv.one 11 points 4 days ago (1 children)

To be fair, it would take me about 16,000 years at an average wage to make a billion dollars. Since Musky has more than one billion years. With the exchange rate of 16,000 years per billion. Musky is going to have a fucking ton of life times to pay his karmic debt.

[–] Geetnerd@lemmy.world 4 points 4 days ago (1 children)

But everyone is being so mean to him, tanking his stock...

[–] Snowclone@lemmy.world 6 points 4 days ago

Can we pass a law to make everyone buy his stock each quarter?

[–] Geetnerd@lemmy.world 8 points 4 days ago

He could have just kept his mouth shut, and died "Tony Stark."

But noooo....

[–] Tinidril@midwest.social 15 points 4 days ago

Not even then, but it's not like that's apt to happen anyways.
