Thinking the next day about something awkward I did/said at a party

Man, I really need to stop drinking before interacting with people, I just wind up putting my foot in my mou-

Suddenly realizing the awkward thing I did/said was before I started drinking and I was stone-cold sober when it happened

...oh. Maybe I should actually insist on drinking before interacting with people...
