Organic Maps is an awesome FOSS mobile map application, it's being forked because the shareholders of the company that "owns" Organic Maps haven't been very transparent.

Thanks for the context. I hope it works out one way or the other. I switched to OM from Big Tech just a short while ago.

Me too, I really like it! The matrix group of the community volunteers gives me hope that we can continue to use it under better licensing.
