Anytime someone says "simple psychology", you know they're full of shit haha
There's no such thing as simple psychology. You're talking about the fucking human mind here mate. We don't even understand a fraction of a fraction of a percent of how it really works.
People are so nuanced and complex with so many variables at play, it's never about one thing or two things, or a hundred things. It's about the condition of being human. You can't just boil things down to "simple psychology" and then walk away like you proved something or said something insightful.
Humans are complex, yes even MAGAts. You are not at a protest because you are expecting to convince people your ideology is better than theirs with clever signs. You're there to show support for an event or action item that has no other way to show support. You're there to meet other protestors and create a community of like minded individuals who can help and support each other.
Protests are a sign that the system is failing/has failed.
All the things you think should happen should have happened further up the pipeline before the protest. But it didn't fucking work did it? They're still fucking dipshits gargling trump's balls no matter what he does to them.
So people are out in the streets and pissed off. They've got nowhere else to vent or voice their frustrations of what they see as a failed system/society. They are not there to convert, they're there to announce loudly that they disagree with what's being done right now. That's it.
It's simple psychology ;)
