Why should you stop? I prefer to use em dashes (when I'm on my PC. I used to know the alt code for it). I'm not going to stop using them. By the way, I put spaces around my em dashes, but I notice you (and ChatGPT) don't. Now I have to look up which is correct.

Dang. Well I'm going to continue to put spaces, because it looks nicer. If people can spell "all right" as "alright", then I can put spaces around my em dashes!
