I learned yesterday that the USFL was initially supposed to be a summer league, to give football players who weren’t NFL-ready out of college a chance to upskill. Donald Trump insisted it have games in the fall, directly competing with the NFL instead. The league failed the same year it moved.
Donald Trump is the anti-Midas: everything he touches turns into garbage.

(That was some serious 5D chess shit right there)
