Why is Germany? Or Australia? Russia or China? Japan? Why are you giving them a free pass?
Because this is not even talking about ongoing genocide. But basic food being blocked by US veto in the UN. See the vote https://www.universal-rights.org/vote-details/?resolution=42174
Israel and United States at the bottom. Since Israel doesn't have as veto power, US did it for them.
The UN has always been a veto exercise, nothing useful happens there so why would you expect it? It's as performative as the US Congress with even fewer results. One side gets to tell their constituents "I voted for a good thing" and the other gets to say they defended their national interests on the global stage.
What would happen if this did pass, Israel just blushes and let's them through? What's to stop them from doing this in an agreement separate to the UN? Is Isreal really going to go to war with dozens of countries to stop some aid going through? Is the US going to sink their ships? No shot.
All of these countries are just as fine with the status quo as the USA. They just get to pretend there's a valid reason for their inaction.
The entire global stage is at fault here, but the buck magically stops at Daddy USA no matter who's in charge.
Those countries can provide aid without going through the UN.
I ask again, why are those countries not?
They can't without declaring war on Israel. There is blockade setup by Israel, bypassing which would require force to enter the Gaza Strip.
They can go through Egypt. They can airdrop supplies. There's options. But they don't.
Why would it be declaring war to aid Gaza? Care to spell it out, what Hamas does with that aid?
Again, they can't the entry point is blocked by Israel.
Again, they can't as Israel controls the air space and given orders to shoot down anyone.
Again, it would require force to break the blockade, which is a military action against another country, which requires declaration of war. Unless you US of course, and then laws are meaningless.
As were said many times by UN who distribute the aid, there are no evidence of Hamas stealing it. So far they weren't proved wrong.
It is possible for multiple parties to be in the wrong
Russia is busy with it's own war & China love playing a double-game. The rest are part of the Western imperialist core
