Overview:

The community dedicated to boycotting the US until they stop fascism, restore full democracy and start following international law.

Americans have a moral obligation to resist Donald Trump and project 2025 at every turn.

America is a flawed democracy currently being ruled by oligarchs. Stop the backslide! Dont let America become the next Hungary.

America needs to challenge the court rulings of citizens united v. fec and shelby county v. holder, protect the media, implement independent district drawing, and the single transferable vote so they don't end up having people stay home in life-changing elections because they cannot vote for their favourite candidate.

California has more people than all of Canada. It's not impossible that California via it's population, could take control of Canadian elections if they were to join Canada.

I wonder what thought experiments people have already done on this issue(in not educated enough for them sadly. But i would totally listen to this radio play)

Well, if they were to gradually annex and canadianize down the coast, I'm sure we could hold out for a few years.

Or, hey, mexico... Take us back? Please?

I'm not really interested in separation from Canada myself as much as I like the idea of a Cascadia

That's also a very interesting thought experiment

California has more people than all of Canada.

So does Metro Tokyo.

It's not impossible that California via it's population, could take control of Canadian elections if they were to join Canada.

I would assume that, in the case that the Western States joined Canada, anyone who would be opposed to things like gun control and not lynching the "queers" would leave those provinces before joining.
