Who is going to win the Giro d’Italia? The answer today feels obvious, almost certain although plenty can happen in the next three weeks. The harder questions are how might Tadej Pogačar win and who else is going to finish on the podium?

I hear they are stage-hunting with him, and I hope it works out, it would be fun to watch!

It is the best option, he has been a year without competing, and age is a factor too.

I don't think that he needs another top10, and traditionally, mountain stage hunters tend to finish quite high on the classification.

But he rides for Movistar, a team that values GC over anything else, and doesn't like to take risks.
