10s of itchy razor blade cuts

I am in this post and I don’t like it! I have that kind of autism as well, with a garnish of psoriasis on top. I’ve been using this from Cera ve-https://www.cerave.com/skincare/moisturizers/daily-moisturizing-lotion

Thick lotions feel like spreading icing on my skin or something, but this feels like giving it a drink. I use an applicator to spread it on my back and I don’t have any issues with shirts after it’s rubbed in and dried for a minute or two. It is painfully pricey but the XL bottles last me 2-3 months (my last one was $18.50), so it’s not bad overall

My wife (who's not on the spectrum) uses "CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Lotion" for her eczema. I use it during Colorado winters. It does trigger my "wet/oily when I'm supposed to be dry" briefly, but far far less than almost any other lotion.

The only one better I've found is "up & up extra repair unscented body lotion" which not only doesn't trigger me at all, but the initial "lotion" feeling dissipates within seconds of rubbing it in. It leaves my hands actually feeling soft and smooth (which the CeraVe does not).

The only reason I mentioned the CeraVe is because my wife is buying it anyway, so it's around, and its fine.

I'm in the same boat as you, I can't deal with greasy hands. So in the winter, I put on a good amount of O'Keefs Working Hands right before I go to sleep for the night. The sticky lotion feeling doesn't bother me when I'm falling asleep since I'm not using my hands for anything, and by the morning my hands are a lot less dry and the stickiness is gone.

I'm super into skincare and have tried many different moisturizers. These are the ones I'm currently using and love them 🩷

Face (though you can use the big tub for body, too):

I use two different ones on my body, depending on the area.

The creams will sit on your skin until they are absorbed, but they leave skin hydrated for 48-72 hours.

• CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Lotion for Dry Skin

Same boat, OP. Despise lotions but my hands are a cracked wasteland if t left to their own devices. A compromise that seems to work: generic eczema cream (active ingredient colloidal oatmeal), grimace and bear the application, and then wear cheap white cotton gloves. Ideally just before bed to minimize the icky feeling. The gloves help my hands feel dry, and I don't have to worry about getting goop on anything.
