Hoping for Metroid Prime 4 or the next remaster of MP2.
I really hope they do a proper remaster of MP2 and MP3. The rumor was that they would do a full remaster of MP1 (which is what we got), but MP2 and MP3 would just be "HD" releases instead of a full remaster. After the success of the first remaster, hopefully they go the full remaster route for the other 2 games.
I hope we get new info on Metroid Prime
Or shadow drop of Prime 2 and 3 remaster.
Finally! So, what are you all hoping for this Nintendo Direct? Also, if you saw the leak, do you think they're real?
Hoping either for some more Gamecube remakes, e.g. Twilight Princess, or for Gamecube games being added to Nintendo Switch Online.
Please, Nintendo, just port Twilight Princess and Wind Waker.
Sadly, I think TotK DLC is more likely. If that's the case, TP and WW will be forced to wait for a bit longer.

I think Pyoro’s leak is real! New 2D Mario, SNES remake, and Detective Pikachu maybe? I think the remake is either a Fire Emblem 4 remake, or a Super Mario RPG remake.
I hope it's Mario RPG. I love Fire Emblem, but Mario RPG is a classic and we didn't have a Mario RPG-kind game for years
Is there a good alternative to r/gamingleaksandrumours on Lemmy? Haven't been able to find one and it's not as easy to follow new leaks on their Discord server
I came across a gaming leaks community here. I usually stay away from rumours and leaks so didn't check in details if it's active or not.

What's been leaked? I hope to see some Metroid Prime information. Maybe remasters of the two remaining ones in the Trilogy, or some preview/information on Metroid Prime 4.
• A new 2D Mario game, but not in the "New" serie • A remake from a SNES RPG, it will probably be Super Mario RPG according to leakers, but could be Fire Emblem 4 (I think it have little chance to happen) or Chrono Trigger (I think it have ZERO chance to happen) • Detective Pikachu 2, leakers report that Game Freak is not ready to show us the Scarlet and Violet DLCs, so they put Detective Pikachu 2 in a Nintendo Direct and not in a Pokémon Presents

This feels so weird to me. Pikmin 4 has been my silly “haha what if they finally announced/released it” game for a while now, and the fact that it’s almost actually out makes me wonder what game I should joke about existing next.
Just wait a year or two. I’m certain Miyamoto will tell us development on Pikmin 5 is going well and the game is near completion by then. That should be some good meme material until at least 2030.
Since that seems to work for you, could you please hope for Sid Meiers Pirates! 2?
New Donkey Kong Game... please?
My expectations are so low for this.
This I don't expect to see (even though it's time for all of them)
- Metroid Prime 4 (we just got remaster)
- Donkey Kong
- Zelda DLC
- 3D Mario
EDIT: OH and hell no to new hardware. Way too early for that.
Hoping for a 3D Mario game set in the universe again. An odyssey 2 or a new experience.
I feel they would want to save up a blockbuster 3D mario for a new generation hardware, like Odyssey was for the Switch.
I am predicting they are announcing the new system. Seems so unlikely but they always seem to do something nobody expects.
Their next system will just be a set of farming tools.
So, this is why they weren't announcing Persona 3 Reload for Switch. I am sure this will be announced tomorrow.

The Nintendo Switch was officially announced about 5 months before it came out. This very well could be a “Switch 2” announcement.
I wouldn't bet on it, TotK just released, and I'm sure they're planning a DLC. Unless it's a Switch 2 that retro-compatibility, maybe?
It was a surprise that Zelda game didn't herald the death of a Nintendo console, as it was for the Gamecube, Wii, and Wii U.
I really wish I wasn't so pessimistic about this Direct, but as a fan of NSMB Wii, if that series really is being killed off then that would basically be vindication for all those people who treat NSMB fans with spite, and I don't know if I could ever get over that
