I just caught up with this show and I have mixed feelings about how this show turned out. I had a lot of fun with the premise and appreciate aspects of how it deals with Kenzaburo finding himself isekai'd. However, the later episodes in the season were pretty slow and the episode with the rubik's cube just straight up felt like a filler.

I wish that we had more info about what is actually going on with Kenzaburo in the real world from the wife and daughter, or at least some kind of hints as to how he ended up in this situation. As it ended now, we got a couple hints that Jacqueline is somehow involved, but I couldn't even begin to make a guess as to how.

True, but I am glad as I heard it will have a second season.

Well, that's one hell of an unresolved implication about Anna's and Grace's mothers to end with. I'm catching a whiff of Unfinished Manga Syndrome here.

The first one is from the author of the source manga, Ueyama Michiro.
