I think the lesson here is that people need to call the media and tell them about planned protests

My wife did this for the recent local Tesla protest, and they (media) showed up, based on tips from her and others. It works.

It's not too late for them to do a story on it. It might even have more impact and they could list the dates of future protests.

"Our ChatGPT story generator was not aware of the protest."

Well, you can't go and ingest the recent internet for AI training. Someone went and filled it with AI slop.

Did the people organizing this inform the media? If so post the paper trail and call her on her BS. If not, they should really start doing that.

Hello, I live on the opposite side of the world and I do not have a job that in any way requires me to stay informed about the world. I was well aware.

Either they're up the administration's butt, or they're fucking horrible at their job.

I'm not sure I would've admitted being so out of touch if I claimed to be a "news reporter".

Dealey Plaza ... like they didn't notice.

I had to look it up. Their offices are 3.5 miles, 10 minute drive from Dealey Plaza. No one went downtown for lunch that day?

I love that they reached out yknow, maybe there'd be more media presence if more people did that.

Well it's not like they couldn't start reporting on it now. News can be provided after the fact, too. This and the sex with women is gay things are breaking my spirit tonight.
