It's not that simple.
No shit sherlock, but that doesn't mean the procedure shouldn't be started, even if it takes 3 years.
Even if it took 1 day it might be a bad move is all I'm saying.
I hate right wing extremists, but they are probably there because of a reason, like feeling unjustly treated, kremlin propaganda etc etc, you have to deal with the underlying problems (too).

Yes, this I agree with, but that's not a reason to wait. Banning fascist parties gives time to the current system to actually solve (or pretend to solve) the underlying problems. It might give another 8 years in Germany because the nazis will need to rebuild, find investors, find new candidates, change their rhetoric, and so on. Right now, the system most likely has 4 years to tackle the reasons people vote for fascists and that simply isn't enough.
The next election could spell the end of democracy in Germany. Wouldn't you want more breathing room?

Also, what's up next, banning leftist parties? You're not a German so look up how it all panned out when they banned political parties last time there.
All I'm saying is it's not a simple swift way of dealing with it all, or as someone said ; to every complex problem there is a simple, easy to understand solution that is wrong.

This isn't about left or right it's whether or not a party's aims include dismantling democracy. You can be as left or right as you want as long as you aren't in bed with tyranny. Quoth the BVerfG:
The free democratic basic order can be defined as an order which excludes any form of tyranny or arbitrariness and represents a governmental system under a rule of law, based upon self-determination of the people as expressed by the will of the existing majority and upon freedom and equality. Yes. One simple and wrong solution to the paradox of tolerance, for example, is to ignore it.
I feel like we're on the same page, I'm just cautious about the results of outrigyt banning a political party.
And so is the BVerfG or they would have banned the NPD instead of saying "yeah they want to abolish democracy but are too small and insignificant to achieve it, so we won't ban them". They did lose state funding, though.
So what? Destroying fascists financial infrastructure and propaganda networks is always desirable.
The constitutional court is the one to decide on a ban. If they cannot be trusted to ban only antidemocractic parties, then German is fascist already regardless.
If you think you "destroy" the extreme right by banning it, then I have a bridge to sell.

You don't destroy it. You destroy a large chunk of their propaganda campaigns and financial backbone.
This provides significant room of breathing for denazification efforts to prosper. You cannot begin denazification without first weakening extremist factions.
Banning a fascist party is about banning a party that has it's goal in removing our democracy, not about solving the issues that helped them come to power. And there is no good reason for waiting to use the tools our democracy has to defend itself.
Solving the problems that the people have is a completely different topic. The fascist party has merely instrumentalized these.
Just look at what happened in Romania for an idea of what banning a political candidate does. They went from the pro-Russian candidate almost certainly losing a second round to the new pro-Russian candidate almost certainly winning. Not saying I have a better suggestion, but it seems about 50 percent of voters everywhere want significant change. At the same time only centrists (attracting the 50 percent that are happy with the status quo), and extreme right wing candidates appear to be viable.
