They kinda look like Hank and Bobby Hill.

The translations you're seeing here are inaccurate at best.

電気アンマ does mean electric massage, but it specifically refers to the move being performed on the packaging: pressing one's foot into someone's genitals, as a prank. So it's not just any electric massage.

Also, 復活 does mean resurrection, but once again, it's unlikely that's what they meant, in a literal sense. It's more likely they meant "comeback," as in bringing back the practice of 電気アンマ.

It's a meme by タイツくん (Tights-kun). They were selling it on their website, but aren't anymore, and the flavour is black pepper and salt with bamboo charcoal. I can't read the last kanji very well, but I'm trusting this Reddit post's reading. It does seem to check out, but the resolution is awful.

"Bring back the ball buzzer"?

[–] gon@lemm.ee 3 points 4 hours ago

Maybe something like that, yeah.

[–] Venus_Ziegenfalle@feddit.org 5 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

Is that a common prank? What would be an appropriate scenario for it to happen?

[–] gon@lemm.ee 4 points 4 hours ago

No clue! This post was the first time I've ever heard of this electric massage thing.

Maybe it's the sort of stuff that happens to the first person to fall asleep at a sleepover or something. Just a guess.

Thanks, I’m guessing what you posted is pretty much right on

[–] gon@lemm.ee 3 points 4 hours ago

Yeah.

That screenshot has some errors on point 2 and 3, by the way.

  1. It doesn't say シリーズ (series), it says ドリトス (Doritos). So it's タイツくん〇〇大人のドリトス (Tights-kun Adult Doritos), with the middle part being cut off and unreadable. I did some more research on this and figured out what it says.

  2. It doesn't say 刺激入り (with a kick). I can't read the 2^nd^ kanji on the packaging, but the first one is definitely not 刺. The Reddit post I linked in the original reply seems to think it says 竹炭入り (bamboo charcoal inside), which upon further research I can confirm is correct, according to the website, even though the 2^nd^ kanji is basically unreadable on that image.

As a fun fact, in the top left it says 励行のこと in the little rectangle, which refers to doing something diligently. On the website, this particular image is accompanied by the text "Don't we have any other way to motivate our workers?"

Where did you get that screenshot by the way? Seems like a really cool tool. Is that ChatGPT?

Team yellow doesn't look like he's getting pranked.

That only raises more questions

[–] OldManBOMBIN@lemmy.world 12 points 16 hours ago

I don't disagree

[–] transientpunk@sh.itjust.works 22 points 16 hours ago

Google translate didn't help...

Pink Guy flavoured Doritos

[–] kora@sh.itjust.works 21 points 16 hours ago (1 children)

Inventors of this flavour are brilliant and surprisingly innovative. Here's a video that explains the creative process behind it.

[–] MacNCheezus@lemmy.today 2 points 12 hours ago

Very insightful.

[–] Landless2029@lemmy.world 6 points 13 hours ago (1 children)

Not sure if this is also a stab at how people in countries with good laws for food safety react to doritos.

I read an account of someone from the UK I think having a mouthgasm and eating several bags. Apparently its a common occurrence.

[–] MacNCheezus@lemmy.today 2 points 12 hours ago (1 children)

American Doritos contain MSG. That would probably do it.

Which of the 2 guys does it make you feel like?

[–] AFreeLarryHoover@lemmy.world 9 points 16 hours ago

Fucking Doritos, clearly.

[–] kitmayfield@lemmy.world 10 points 16 hours ago

Black pepper and salt, the rest is an advert

[–] Korne127@lemmy.world 10 points 16 hours ago
[–] MissJinx@lemmy.world 8 points 17 hours ago

Maybe that's some kind of kanji

[–] TisI@reddthat.com 2 points 15 hours ago

Long, long man.
