Republicans are garbage all the time.

Small potatos. Rick Scott stole so much federal money, he agreed to have his company pay over a billion dollar settlement to Medicare. I guess Florida cares when it's state money?

If shame had any effect on him he'd have died of it years ago.

Wow, yet another case of massive Medicaid fraud by criminal FL politicians. I’m shocked, truly. (/s)

The controversy has also impacted First Lady Casey DeSantis's political prospects. Once considered a potential candidate for governor in 2026, she now faces criticism over the foundation's financial practices and its lack of transparency.

Even if nothing else comes of this at least it stopped another nitwit political dynasty. I mean, maybe. I don't have any faith in the voters of Florida at this point.

Documents obtained by journalists and state investigators show that the original settlement amount matched precisely with earlier findings that Centene had overcharged the Medicaid program. Despite this, state officials, under DeSantis' administration, channeled $10 million of the recovered funds to the Hope Florida Foundation, a nonprofit run by the First Lady and intended to help reduce reliance on government welfare programs.

From there, the $10 million was distributed to two nonprofits not legally required to disclose their spending. These organizations later funneled $8.5 million into a political committee controlled by Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier, DeSantis’ then-chief of staff, which campaigned against a ballot initiative to legalize recreational marijuana. Critics, including Republican Rep. Alex Andrade, allege that this diversion of Medicaid funds may have been politically motivated and potentially illegal.

If politicians spent half as much time and effort into working for their constituents as they do to steal money for themselves, America wouldn't be the shithole it's become.

Also...stealing welfare money to keep people off welfare is pretty weird.

Republicans are crooks and liars. Maybe one in fifty is operating on an even field. That’s probably overly generous, but I don’t want to vilify the rare honest ones who are simply repugnant on policy.

So that's where the insane budget for her "documentary" came from. $40 million. For a documentary about Milania Trump. Utter bullshit.

Is Ron rocking a little porn stache there?

Kina looks like Carl from ATHF

Hope he falls as Cheeto has other, probably more deranged, plans for FL governor than this corrupt MF.
