AI Art IS dying. In this video, you'll hear how AI art is failing left and right, and it's not doing as well as they say. It's flawed, unethical, legally ambiguous, and that means it's time is almost up. Artists: don't worry about AI art, just persist. I believe in you!

But also don't forget to give it a glaze with nightshade before hitting "post"

Polluting AI while it's trying to steal your art is a must.

Pretty sure the vomit is here to stay. People don't care about that it's shit on all levels, its cheap for them and most don't give a crap about anything else.

I don't think there's any money long term in producing this crap though. Like is imgflip.com doing big $$$ numbers? Doubt it.

It'll continue to be used where otherwise they'd use a meme gen, low quality photoshop, ms paint, or nothing at all and only while the hype cycle allows them enough free capital to keep losing millions to billions of dollars to run it.

All of the people that are like "but I can run a local AI!" sure...you can, but how many people are actually going to care enough about the type of slop they're generating to learn how to do that either? Not many.

It's roughly equivalent to the amount of people who are going to run their own plex, music server, or other network-connected services. If Netflix went offline tomorrow, most people wouldn't have any kind of backup plan for any of that media. The same applies (even more so IMO) for AI.

Yeah; it's 'sufficient' for a lot of purposes. It's like complaining about things being made out of cheap plastic; it's not as good but it's often good enough. There are ethical concerns but they won't generally stop its use.

Using it to make decisions or write actual technical documentations is different. But most art doesn't need to be correct; it's art.

Doesnt matter if its trash and incosistent if it gets millions of views, does bother me how much they use properties they dont own, like superheroes and make bank off it, like damn can 3d artists do that too call it a parody or is just ai allowed to
