where are people getting their long sweaters

Search "sweater dress".

[–] exasperation@lemm.ee 4 points 3 hours ago

From their taller exes

[–] ZILtoid1991@lemmy.world 4 points 9 hours ago

I just came up with a new kink because of this: Forced pants wearing.

[–] Pnut@lemm.ee 7 points 13 hours ago

This has been my attitude for some time.

[–] flicker@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 13 hours ago (1 children)

Fuuuuuck that it's sweatin' season where I am. Don't need beads of sweat a-rollin' down my legs.

[–] Ziglin@lemmy.world 1 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

So you'd rather have the sweat bind cloth to your legs for extra insulation? What we need is a dimmer switch for the sun, not pants!

[–] flicker@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 1 minute ago

My stretchy leggings do a great job of moving the moisture away from the place it's generated in. I don't know the science, I just know having leggings on is a lot better for my sweating than a skirt. And trust me, I love skirts.

[–] fakeman_pretendname@feddit.uk 11 points 18 hours ago (2 children)

Is this American pants (trousers) or English pants (underwear)?

Quite a different message depending.

[–] MyDarkestTimeline01@ani.social 5 points 18 hours ago

Ha! Also, American.

[–] supersquirrel@sopuli.xyz 33 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Well, if I was going to wield an AK47 around, I might at least want pockets tho

[–] UltraMagnus0001@lemmy.world 1 points 2 hours ago

Well, girl pants don't have pockets

[–] VirgilMastercard@reddthat.com 23 points 1 day ago (4 children)

You can have pockets without pants with the skin pocket procedure. You get a pocket sized square of skin removed from each ass cheek, and grafted on to the outside of your thighs. Don't worry about the sting on the buttocks, two ice packs will be provided for relief until the skin heals.

Now you can wear long sweaters without pants and still have pockets!

[–] lena@gregtech.eu 19 points 1 day ago

That's enough internet for today

[–] sp3ctr4l@lemmy.dbzer0.com 10 points 22 hours ago

... dear... god...

You can also just wear a chest rig, without pants...

Also, I am now just remebering these exist: Utilikilt.

[–] edgemaster72@lemmy.world 11 points 1 day ago

Sir, you are getting dangerously close to infringing on my patented idea "Human Kangaroo Pocket". Expect a C&D from my lawyer within the week.

I’m gonna need some buttons to make sure the pickpockets don’t steal my snickers bar.

[–] FundMECFSResearch@lemmy.blahaj.zone 12 points 21 hours ago (1 children)

I think this meme would look less cool if you replaced it with a man, but on I’m board.

[–] GrammarPolice@lemmy.world 7 points 21 hours ago

I'm on board*

[–] throwawayacc0430@sh.itjust.works 10 points 21 hours ago (1 children)

Instructions Unclear, got arrested for indecent exposure

[–] surewhynotlem@lemmy.world 16 points 21 hours ago (1 children)

Instructions were quite clear. You just need a bigger gun.

[–] baines@lemmy.cafe 5 points 21 hours ago

seems like a bigger dick would just make exposure more obvious

[–] Little8Lost@lemmy.world 15 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Could you wear a skirt and when she reacts negative about it show this meme?

[–] idiomaddict@lemmy.world 9 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

I fucking love masc dudes in skirts, there’s a (hopefully good) chance she wouldn’t react poorly

[–] MyDarkestTimeline01@ani.social 2 points 21 hours ago (1 children)
[–] idiomaddict@lemmy.world 1 points 21 hours ago

That’s why I used subjunctive :)

[–] MyDarkestTimeline01@ani.social 12 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (4 children)

With enough alcohol I could be convinced to wear a kilt for about 5 minutes. Short of that I will literally fight you over wearing a skirt. Attribute whatever you like to that, but I will not wear a skirt. Now, I have Donald Ducked it in front of her and the only thing I got was a hungry stare and a "Mmmm".

[–] PerogiBoi@lemmy.ca 10 points 1 day ago

It’s called “Whinnie the Poohing” and it’s high culture 😤

[–] Little8Lost@lemmy.world 7 points 1 day ago (1 children)

thats fine, a lot of men dont like to wear a skirt. Only thought it could be funny to have the "no pants" thing differently than normal

[–] lurch@sh.itjust.works 6 points 21 hours ago

Long skirts made for men are usually less problematic, if someone considers trying. They give like a goth or alternative vibe.

[–] its_prolly_fine@sh.itjust.works 5 points 23 hours ago (1 children)

Dude it's excuse for no pants around the house and your wife gets to ogle your ass.

[–] MyDarkestTimeline01@ani.social 3 points 23 hours ago

I'm a big fan of pants though.

[–] Mouselemming@sh.itjust.works 1 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

Maybe you haven't tried a long skirt/dress yet. Swooshy, full control of your exposure level, fresh air wafting underneath, long tall silhouette, give it a try!

[–] MyDarkestTimeline01@ani.social 3 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

That's a negative Ghost Rider.

[–] Mouselemming@sh.itjust.works 2 points 22 hours ago

Well it's probably impractical on a motorcycle

[–] its_prolly_fine@sh.itjust.works 9 points 23 hours ago

Used to hate dresses and skirts, until I found long loose flowey ones. No pants levels of comfy and look nice with like zero effort. Yes absolutely

[–] frickineh@lemmy.world 6 points 22 hours ago (2 children)

I hate skirts and dresses though. But I do try my best not to wear hard pants anymore. Pjs and leggings only.

[–] MyDarkestTimeline01@ani.social 4 points 22 hours ago

Leggings are her compromise.

[–] idiomaddict@lemmy.world 2 points 22 hours ago

I got a bunch of preshrunk plain colored linen pants and shorts and they’re comfy as fuck, cool in the sweaty months and for my job at a bakery, and still look at least business casual (the long pants, not the shorts) even if they’re wrinkly.

Damn, I was about to implement a pants rule for the downstairs but this cute anime chick has given me a new outlook.

[–] klu9@lemmy.ca 6 points 23 hours ago

Commando forever!

[–] oppy1984@lemm.ee 2 points 21 hours ago* (last edited 9 hours ago) (1 children)

As a guy who's worn a kilt once, I get it. I still wear pants all the time though.

[–] tatann@lemm.ee 2 points 20 hours ago (1 children)

You should try wearing a lungi, it's a good compromise

[–] oppy1984@lemm.ee 2 points 9 hours ago

Had to Google that one, but damn that looks comfy. Since I mostly work from home now, I might have to try that out. Thanks for the suggestion.
