Itβs a little bit illuminating seeing the stark contrast of deep green vs deep red at the Northern Russian border, whereas in the more central Europe, or the rest of it for that matter, sees a gradual tend towards the red across the eastern bloc.
Thatβs a daring thing to be. Such a progressive, healthy country, with all that border with the deep red orcs. But has to be a little bit lonely, too. Not many deep green countries having such stark contrast to a direct neighbor. Not many will understand the extra pressure or weight it carries.
FYI, Poland had a pretty far-right undemocratic government until relatively recently (a few years...). Keyword PiS. For a moment it looked like they might do a full Hungary. I'm glad they got back from that!
The new (current) government promised a lot of improvement, but did very little. And during current presidential campaign (elections this Sunday) they don't even pretend they care much about LGBT rights.
Surprised it's not Hungary.
Europe is lucky it doesnt have USA in there.
What do you mean?
That it'd be the worst state? That the US being inside the EU would be a bad thing?
I meant that with Trump in charge of the USA, it would be at the bottom of the ranking if it was included in the European stats.
Why is there under almost very post not about the USA, someone mentioning the USA?
Honestly i guess its because it feels like Europe is not as important as USA for world econony or relations....
Maybe thats wrong. But it certainly feels like Europe is just not that important. And im a European.
The green and red thumbnail made me somehow read Portugal instead of Poland which left me confused for a second

Why was it worse? Polish pope, focusing on spreading LGBT hate to Poland. Now, they're more focused on fighting off Russia.
Romania? I guess they're planning on fighting off the growing eastern orthodox Russians, and the Balkan muslims.
It's all a war with them. A perpetual war to influence and force people into their shitty religions.
PiS is no longer able block LGBTQ+ events like Pride Parades and municipalities have withdrawn anti LGBTQ+ laws. They current government also created a number of hate speech laws, which would protect them, but the PiS president refuses to sign them.
So it seems to get better, but far from good.
there are elections next sunday and it's likely that next president will be a lib
~~It should be Russia~~
Since when exactly is Russia in the EU?
Sorry, I thought it said in Europe. My mistake
No problem ;)
