Inhibition is a learned trait. Modesty comes from a long time ago when some people freaked out because they saw a penis or something?! Seriously though, religious people don't like promiscuity and they think hiding our "shame" will make it go away. Fucking idiots.

Ironically, the religious nutz are the ones who are into some of the most vile things. Not just kink (which is fine), VILE. Religion & repression are evil.
The most amazing piece of technology from the hit arthouse game stray was the ability for a third person camera floating behind a cat to never have its asshole in view.
My understanding is that pets do so as a sign of trust (ie, they trust you not to attack them when they're facing away). In the same vein, humans also stick their butts out for people they like, so maybe we're not that different after all
