I find it funny that Seth had to pitch them, "You still want money?" Because the current executives don't have any idea how to make money.

This is just Hollywood in a nutshell. Hollywood execs are all business majors now and none of them have actually ever worked in film directly, so they think you just stick actors on a screen and get them to say words, and somehow money comes out. They truly think consumers like you and me are dumb as rocks, and will happily watch literally any slop they plate up.

Not completely unfounded tbh

and will happily watch literally any slop they plate up

I mean... yeah.

If love action superhero movies have taught me anything, yeah, you're right that it's not unfounded at all.

Makes me think of the show The Studio. Seth Rogan’s character thinks of himself as better than just an executive, but he’s always fucking up and disconnected from those around him.

It’s a fun show.

Best 2 minute read I've seen from Seth Green ever. Just from that little snippet it seems that he's good at keeping people employed despite his bosses best efforts of just firing people to please shareholders. What a depressing business it must be to work in with idiots everywhere.

Seth Green and his partner threatened to fire all the Robot Chicken Animators if they unionized.

Who woulda guessed that a rich, vain actor turns out to be a piece of shit?

Not “just” a creative but understanding the business side too!
