When I graduated with my master's in education, the boneheaded school administrators brought in a entrepreneur/CEO type to give the commencement address at the College of Education's graduation ceremony. He gave an inspiring speech about how if you work hard and be entrepreneurial, you can achieve whatever level of wealth and success you desire. He gave this speech to a crowd that was primarily current and future public school teachers.
Most inspirational speakers should just have their program titled "selection bias".
Worse, some of them are clearly thumbs.
