Thats very optimistic that trials will be short enough that right wing media won't manage to successfully pin blame for trumps failed policies on whoever comes next.
Also assuming trump doesn't blanket pardon everyone involved.
If democrats win they need sweeping corporate reforms especially in media ownership and I doubt any of the current candidates will do anything but kick that can down the road.
Contempt charges would be an appropriate response. Throw him in the slammer and don't let him out until he takes it all back and gives the judge a grovelling apology.
