MTG entered office as a 'the establishment is corrupt, all the conspiracy theories are real' under Biden.
Now that 'her team' has won, now the establishment is all corrupt and there's tons of actual conspiracies... So in a way, she's actually shockingly consistent..
She's a Qanon die-hard first, Trump supporter second. A portion of the Qanon faction has started to break with Trump over the Epstein stuff.
She actually got exposed to the horrors of her government on Instagram and began questioning a lifetime of brainwashing. She's not exactly and intellectual leftist, but a big crack was formed.
This is why the US bought TikTok, to eliminate access to non US propaganda.
She is doing the grift where she correctly names all the problems to get people to think she understands them. But her solution is to vote for Trump harder.
Trump will reap what he's sown by having not picked her for a cushy cabinet position. She loved him, dammit!

She's not the worst person I know. She's in the top ten, but not the worst.
This is the problem with social media. Everyone is trying to get worthless internet points by riffing on the popular "The worst person you know...." meme. Meanwhile, no one is talking about the actual robbery that happened in plain sight just a few days ago that she is talking about.
The Crypto flash crash of October 10th was nothing short of out in the open corruption that vaporised billions of dollars in seconds. A crypto bro, Konstantin Galish killed himself after losing tens of millions that didnt actually belong to him. And all of it was triggered by well timed tweets by the paedo and chef, Donald Drumpf.

She's the sacrificial Republican this time around.
She is likely going to maneuver into Speakership. She knows Trump isn't lasting and this version of Greene she's putting out will demolish Vance.
She's playing to win a longer game.
Admittedly, I'm a little impressed. She's smarter than I thought. I still don't like her, but I'm not going to say that I hate her anymore.
Her creeping through AOC's mailbox before she was a politician keeps her well in the 'nope' camp for me. She's proving herself more dangerous right now IMO.
She drew the short straw
What timeline are we living in where MTG is actually starting to talk sensibly about some of the bull-puckey that Trump is pulling?
Don't get me wrong - she still is not a good person, in fact she is downright despicable on many levels. But crap, she's actually talking against Trump on two issues now.
But, honestly, I doubt her sincerity on the tariffs issue. It's most likely that she's concerned that the businesses that have been stuffing her pockets for years won't stuff her pockets anymore.
I think that unlike some others in the maga leadership, she was a true believer. She believed in all the most dubious deep state conspiracy theories. She thought this movement was about purging deep state corruption, and replacing it with some more meritocratic system. A big old dose of racism in there but with her rationalizing it with convenient conspiracy theories.
Now she's faced with more blatant objective evidence of conspiracies. So she gets turned a bit by the betrayal.
Over a long enough time span, I think MTG is doomed to always, eventually turn against whomever is ostensibly "in charge". She'll go for conspiracy theories and of course the people in charge are to blame.
She’s pivoting. The writing is on the wall for trump. She wants to be speaker of the house and run for potus in 28.
She knows two things well: 1: the Trump base and 2: that Trump ain't lasting much longer.
More than two - Israel, Epstein files, ai regulation, healthcare and influencer transparency before this.
If I’m giving her the absolute benefit of the doubt, it just feels like she was an uneducated conservative parent who fell for Trump, and only just lately has she actually woken up to what he’s about.
It’s probably not as good as this though.
I like to think she was just some lady who got hit on the head by a falling coconut, and that turned her into the cartoon character she was when we all met her, and since then she recently got hit by another coconut and now this is who she is.

I think she’s distancing herself from anything Epstein while she still can.

MAGA loves MTG. She's positioning herself to take over after Trump dies. She basically needs to prepare ammunition to attack other contenders with.
She could always go all out on a wedge issue: Release the Epstein files.
She did exactly that.
She is one of the three Republicans who have signed the discharge petition to force a vote on bill to release the Epstein files. (Bobert is another one, go figure.)
To be fair, she has kept on it, although just a bit quieter the last couple of weeks.
