Welcome to America! Where a convicted felon, pedophile and reality tv “star” is president and we worship racist, bigoted podcasters.

Just so much winning!

Anything to draw the attention away from the Epstein files.

Everything about Kirk's death is performative and self-serving. Even from his widow. And I hate saying that, but it's true.

All the way back to the first so-called "memorial" whose poster included 3-people, (Vance, Trump, and Kirk's widow) and literally no photo of Kirk himself...on a poster for HIS goddamn memorial. We all know that turned into nothing more than a MAGA rally, and from there nothing has changed.

don't hate saying that - it's so abundantly absurd, and deserves to be called out. The whole video Erika took is self-centered and just plain weird. I can't say it was a loveless marriage, but she certainly wasn't grieving his death.

Charlie Kuck's dead body is being used for a grift.

Fitting, really.

[–] YiddishMcSquidish@lemmy.today 2 points 5 days ago

and I hate saying that

Why? It's the truth. Bitch was literally profiting off of his death within days. Money really is the only thing the right cares about.

Worthless medal at this point.

"But some of his comments on gun violence, LGBTQ issues, race and more often drew criticism from liberals and others."

So understated lol

"Some say killin's too good for him."

Assholes of the earth.

Trump tends to be nice to people who act fully subservient to him -- those he has dominated.

And wasn't Kirk on the "we should see the Epstein files" side of the MAGA divide except for that one afternoon when he said he was over it?

Having a problematic person publicly killed and then "honored" like this sure feels on brand for the wannabe mafia shitheads pulling the strings. It's like how they revel in their hypocrisy rather than hiding it because they care much more about rubbing it in their enemies' faces than they do about their own integrity.

We can be angry that a sack of shit was given an award, or we can be glad for the requirements that are needed to be met in order to receive it. I for one, am impatiently looking forward to trump’s posthumous award(s).

[–] Tigeroovy@lemmy.ca 11 points 6 days ago

Does the medal look like a target?

[–] _stranger_@lemmy.world 7 points 6 days ago

I like both interpretations of posthumously in this sentence, but I like the other one better.

[–] DarkFuture@lemmy.world 2 points 5 days ago

Lol.

He's still dead.

Can just stuff it in the hole I guess.

The freedom to be an asshole, specifically.

[–] stinky@redlemmy.com 4 points 6 days ago (2 children)

I guarantee the military will not support him in the event of an uprising. What a tonedeaf way to lead people you'll need support from.

[–] LowtierComputer@lemmy.world 6 points 6 days ago (1 children)

I guarantee much of the military will.

[–] AngryCommieKender@lemmy.world 2 points 6 days ago

I'm would imagine that having all the generals and admirals in one place where they can talk directly to each other, and pissing them off with the reason you committed such an egregious breach of opsec isn't the best move he could have made. I'm pretty sure that our military leaders just got all the opportunity they needed to completely undermine the administration at every turn.

[–] slaneesh_is_right@lemmy.org 2 points 6 days ago

The military that incaded the wrong country for 20 years?

[–] ShaggySnacks@lemmy.myserv.one 1 points 5 days ago

New rule. If we are going to award the Presidential Medal of Freedom posthumously, we have to dig up the corpse.

Don't have a corpse? Then no Presidential Medal of Freedom for you.

[–] merdaverse@lemmy.zip 3 points 6 days ago

The real freedom is the one we got from CK's nonsense
