Ah, the 70s. Where all haircuts made you look like a TV pastor or a pervert. Then, in the 80s we realized they were the same thing.

These should be the Level Bosses in an RPG about a hair styling salon.

Call it like the old hair styling magazine from Spain, I think the name was Llongueras, I have NO idea what the word means but that double-L from Spanish is striking:
Lluvia, Llano, Llegar, Llave, Llama, Llorar...
any of these could begin with Y, they are unused words or vacant spots in the language, devoid of meaning:
Yuvia, Yano, Yegar, Yave, Yama, Yorar...

Anyway... Anton Chigurh hair, baby, yeah!
Anton Chigurh is the final boss! Cutting his hair then suddenly a coin starts flipping!

Bottom left, center left or top left? Or center-top left? Or bottom-top center-left?

Who snuck a Klingon into this mfker? Fits in just right tho.

[–] ZoopZeZoop@lemmy.world 3 points 3 days ago

That one is the closest to my dad's hair during this era, actually.

A bit too dark tho

No I know what inspired Warren Zevon to write Werewolves Of London.

[–] Test_Tickles@lemmy.world 3 points 3 days ago

That's good stuff, I was just coming in here to find out if everyone just happened to have been bitten by a werewolf back in the day, but I didn't even think of Werewolves of London.

You may have spotted Gowron, but did you catch Thulsa Doom?

[–] shalafi@lemmy.world 2 points 3 days ago

Took me a sec to find him! Excellent call.

GLORY TO YOU......AND YOUR BEARD!

[–] LordCrom@lemmy.world 3 points 3 days ago

When in doubt, go with the Ron Swanson high and tight. Never goes out of style.

[–] A_norny_mousse@feddit.org 2 points 4 days ago (2 children)

Young British duke in a 1970s romantic drama.

[–] sbv@sh.itjust.works 1 points 2 days ago

I think it's Rowan Atkinson.

[–] Hossenfeffer@feddit.uk 1 points 3 days ago

How very perspicacious. That is how I live my life!

[–] peoplebeproblems@midwest.social 5 points 3 days ago (1 children)

How did they have so much hair??????

Hair spray, and lots of it.

[–] Apeman42@lemmy.world 6 points 4 days ago (1 children)

There's also a Romulan and possibly mirror Riker in the top row.

[–] Bonus@sh.itjust.works 4 points 3 days ago (1 children)

How many are Paul Reubens and how many are Gene Simmons and ...is that the guy who played Sasquatch on Six Million Dollar Man?

[–] mindbleach@sh.itjust.works 3 points 3 days ago

"Oh come on, Samson, it's nothing you haven't seen before."

"He IS something I've never seen before!"

[–] VeryVito@lemmy.ml 4 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Is Pee Wee third on the bottom row??

[–] HairyHarry@lemmy.world 3 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Seems to me like a love child from Pee Wee and Mr. Bean.

[–] gigastasio@sh.itjust.works 5 points 4 days ago

Mister Peen?

[–] favoredponcho@lemmy.zip 4 points 4 days ago

Is there a legit version of this?

[–] HowAbt2day@futurology.today 3 points 3 days ago

JD Vance with the Soul Glo’ in the 3rd row of column 3 is actually sexy.

I'll take- wait a second!

[–] OhStopYellingAtMe@lemmy.world 3 points 4 days ago

Took me too long to spot glory!

[–] A_norny_mousse@feddit.org 3 points 4 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

Top row, from left (movies):

  • 3rd: Brainy SciFi, mostly white walls, characters dressed in silver
  • 4th: Historical drama, ancient Greece

2nd row:

  • 2nd: Erich Honecker's son, 18
  • 4th: Main character in the little known first Hobbit movie

All from the 1970s of course.

[–] FerretyFever0@fedia.io 3 points 4 days ago

Bottom right is my personal favorite. Unless it just looks good at that angle.

[–] ryedaft@sh.itjust.works 1 points 3 days ago

Anyone know any websites for non-comedy versions of this kind of stuff?

[–] muffedtrims@lemmy.world 2 points 4 days ago

I'll take the serial killer cut

[–] Apeman42@lemmy.world 2 points 4 days ago

Bottom row with the bow tie looks like The Doctor from another timeline where they tried a young sexy one earlier.

[–] CompactFlax@discuss.tchncs.de 1 points 3 days ago

All the best barbershops I’ve been to had this chart, or something like it.

[–] Mim@lemmy.zip 1 points 4 days ago

If only I still had the hair to pull of that glorious hairstyle 😔
