With consumer protections and various other individual liberties being rolled back, I don't think this meme goes far enough.

"Honk if you agree to the terms and conditions of the agreement linked with this QR code." Might be a more profitable strategy going forward. Make the honking party agree to provide contract labor at minimum wage. Sell that labor to a third party for closer to the market rate for whatever their skill set is. Include an arbitration agreement. Profit.

The idea is that it'll make people more cautious drivers around you. It doesn't work because people generally transform into sociopaths the moment they enter a vehicle.

they're warning signs for other people that the driver of the signed vehicle is likely not paying attention to driving

or at least that's how it appears from my experience, given that there's a fucking good chance that a car with a sticker like that does something really stupid like change lanes without signaling or giving a shit that I'm right beside them

I've heard (as in, hearsay, so not reputable at all) that it may also be intended for emergency workers in case of a crash, but I still think that's less likely than your explanation. If it were for emergency workers, you wouldn't likely have it only on the rear window/bumper.

to be serious, I do belief that it's a 50/50 mix of "look at me with my cute I have a kid sticker" and "please be extra careful around me I have a baby"

in the first case, whatever

in the second case, fuck you, you're not special, you're the one endangering me (statistically in my experience, anyways)

I think the emergency response factor is present but small

Delusional, they only think you are sexy.
