The Oromo people would customarily plant a coffee tree on the graves of powerful sorcerers. They believed that the first coffee bush sprang up from the tears that the god of heaven shed over the corpse of a dead sorcerer.
My wife has that same coffee pot and LOVES IT. So much so that when she moved away from her dad's, they got in a (friendly) fight over it because she wanted it but it's actually his, and she ultimately caved and bought her own. So now we have one too!
I’m a pour over guy (I like the ritual) but needed something for mornings where I’m lazy and watching f1 or when girlfriends Folgers loving mom comes over. It has performed beautifully for both purposes

Thank you! It isn’t very fancy but for my modest budget and building over the last few years it is nice. The encore esp brought it all together. I had burrs but it was a cheaper model with less consistency and didn’t go espresso fine and I wanted a real basket for my dedica.
