Nardo would have been cool too.

Called my gf as 'Zabe' and she's trying to cut my head off

[–] Sabre363@sh.itjust.works 17 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Just call her Abe, that'll calm her down for sure.

[–] akatsukilevi@kbin.social 8 points 2 years ago (2 children)

I'll try and let everyone updated

I actually do. It started as Nardo, then the o got dropped because of the obvious fun of it.

[–] radioactiveradio@lemm.ee 33 points 2 years ago (3 children)

Christopher could've been "stop her"

[–] Christopher@lemm.ee 19 points 2 years ago (4 children)

Chris, top her.

I wish I had a cool name that had words in it.

[–] UndefinedIsNotAFunction@programming.dev 4 points 2 years ago (2 children)

Sorry it took you so long. To be fair though, I forgot about it entirely and I also have been using this name for a very long time.

Oh god I'd be afraid to call her that in public lol. Sounds way too much like whiffer which would be very rude

[–] threeduck@aussie.zone 28 points 2 years ago

I call my friend Tim, "Moth"

He doesn't like it

[–] mustardman@discuss.tchncs.de 28 points 2 years ago

Finally the first good DLC for names. The last update turning Leonardo into just Leo really broke the immersion.

[–] JeSuisUnHombre@lemm.ee 18 points 2 years ago

I really wish I knew a Brooklyn because I really want to use Ookly

Actually there is a big politician in our country called Elizabeth, from our village, old ladies who saw her young call her 'Zaabe'. The other 'a' is just for our local pronunciation.

Also my grandma was referred to as Zabeth

[–] EmpiricalFlock@beehaw.org 12 points 2 years ago

I actually worked with a Leonard who preferred "Nard"
