Hello fellow Far Side fans!
About this community and how I post the comic strip… Many moons ago, I would ask my Dad to save the newspaper for me everyday so I could read my favorite comic strips and one of those was The Far Side. These days of course you find just about anything online including www.thefarside.com where they post several comics a day and I repost them here. Just to note, the date you see in my posts is not the initial release date, but the date they were posted on the website.
The Far Side is a single-panel comic created by Gary Larson and syndicated by Chronicle Features and then Universal Press Syndicate, which ran from December 31, 1979, to January 1, 1995 (when Larson retired as a cartoonist). In Colombia, there's this kind of music called "Vallenato" and the myth said that the devil found an accordion washed by the beach and instructed the locals on how to use it, and that music genre come from this
The Devil has apparently had a long history in music study.
This explains his eventual trip to Georgia, he was just trying to get more practice in after all his previous attempts, and he's pretty good on the fiddle.
Wouldn't a solid gold fiddle weigh hundreds of pounds and sound terrible?
Probably wouldn't sound at all since it would likely collapse under its own weight considering how soft gold is.

Explains it. I like metal and Swedish polska(not polka, that's completely different). Definitely hell for me.
Accordion is a metal music instrument. Actually, any way of producing sound is, or should be, used to make metal music.

Folk metal uses accordion pretty liberally. Might not be everybody's cup of tea, but you can't tell me that Korpiklaani isn't metal accordion.

Man. I listen to metalcore and doom/sludge, and have spent the last few months looking up concertinas to buy because what would be more fun than moshing while fingering a box? Yep, can't think of anything

I truly hate accordions. This is the most true Far Side ever.
