My ADHD is not even remotely that interesting.

I used to have a boss like that, he'd toss in an ellipsis at the most inappropriate locations.

It made all his emails appear sarcastic. Leave it to a guy who focused primarily on decorum instead of substance to send an email like

"Good job..."

and not know how that reads.

The media is publicizing these lies to keep people from getting the idea that they need to do something.

"Oh good his voters are turning on him" helps placate the opposition. It keeps people from wanting to do something.

It's also important to note that Tailscale's coordination server can be self-hosted, the project is called Headscale. For the self-hosting folks.

It’s not just you. Second hand embarrassment is just as bad as first hand embarrassment for me.

It’s a wildly unpopular take, but it’s the reason I can’t watch most of Steve Carell’s stuff, including the office.

Also https://www.cac.mil/Common-Access-Card/, if the Americans are skeptical.

I don't like the Austrian one being phone-integrated, but I understand why people would want that.

The technology has existed since the 80s.

X509 certificates would allow a government agency to sign a digital identity indicating that it's legitimate, would allow for remote revocation in the event of loss or theft, and can be easily integrated with every existing computer and browser.

An issued physical card would resemble a credit card, with a chip in it. Other physical form factors can take the shape of USB-devices which bundle the card and the reader into a single device.

We need to stop using the word 'accident'. Accident my hole, he wanted to see if he could get away with it. So far he has.

Seek out new life and new civilizations, and introduce deadly biological pathogens to their ecosystems!

$40.50 to sit on the couch sounds about right for new years.

Oh this takes me back. Early 2000s, a pre-holiday release of one of the Gears of War - I forget which, and then: Christmas Morning.

Thousands of people having just opened the game immediately jumping into multiplayer and getting absolutely massacred. What an amazing Christmas present.

Now I'm the fodder, on a good day.

It's nice that you're so ready to delegate to my natural authority, but unnecessary.
