It's looking promising! Still, I'm hoping for a close fight, it'll be refreshing to see some action in the top class at le mans for the first time in years

Looking like there's a chance of rain today as well

Given that it's race week I thought it'd be a great time to start a discussion thread for the 24 Hours of Le Mans!

What are your predictions for each class? For LMH I'm hoping Ferrari can pull out a victory but Toyota have been pretty rock-solid this season so far.

I had a similar idea but wouldn't you need to use Reddit's API to grab the posts, or is there another way?

I made a motorsport community yesterday link . it's very empty at the moment but hopefully it'll grow with time.

In one case, an employee "viewed thousands of video recordings belonging to female users of Ring cameras that surveilled intimate spaces in their homes such as their bathrooms or bedrooms," the FTC said.

Of all the places, why the fuck would you install one of these in your bathroom? I just don't get some people

Cool, do you have a link? Tried searching for it but couldn't find it

Thought I'd start a new community dedicated to motorsport. News, discussions about upcoming races (from any discipline) all welcome!

Progmetal for me as well, going to see animals as leaders in November!

Also started getting into jazz/jazz fusion. Tigran hamasyan, avashai Cohen trio, return to forever are all amazing

Any motorsport communities out there (f1, wec etc)?

I use nextcloud, except on a rented server with hetzner. If I need to store sensitive personal info I usually use an rclone crypt. It's been a rock solid setup for the past 10 months or so that I've had it

I was half wondering if it was possible/allowed to create a bot account that "mirrors" content from certain subreddits such as r/formula1 to create an automated newsfeed for lemmy users to browse and comment on? I guess even if it were possible it'd rely on using reddit's API which is obviously soon to be a no-go

Joined lemmy after getting sick of reddit. The community here feels like a breath of fresh air. But disappointed at the lack of the more niche content (mostly motorsport discussion/news) but am sure that'll change with time.
