What's interesting is that if you go directly to an Invidious instance through your browser, everything works perfectly. At least, it did for me.

DuckDuckGo is generally considered the more private of the two. And StartPage had some shady issues a while back, but I can't for the life of me remember what they were...

No, I understand that. I was just commenting on how weird it is that some people would take that position when there's no evidence that I can see that it's actually true. No worries, my friend! :)

.ml is considered 'Tankie'?? First I've heard of this, and I've yet to see anything that would give any kind of credence to that claim. How weird...

I think we're the ones being used... ;)

At this point, if you're still using anything even remotely connected to Elon Musk, you get what you deserve. I'm not saying that to be an asshole, either. It's just a simple fact.

Anyone can make a mistake. Sometimes we have to answer for those mistakes. Painfully.

Sure, you have a right to Free Speech - you can say whatever you like. I also have the right to not do business with you, to not hire you, to remember your face and call you out on the street and let eeeeeeveryone in my neighborhood know who you are and what you do, and to not allow you to use my online services.

The exact same scenario played out with Steve Bannon, and Trump fired him. I'm don't see Elon faring much better.

I will always recommend Posteo. https://posteo.de/en

Can someone help me understand this? If hundreds of thousands of people use a popular browser extension, how does that make it easier for you to be singled out among them? I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around this, can anyone help?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I was hoping that the desktop version and the mobile version would be able to sync messages between users without having to create multiple accounts. Is this even possible with SimpleX's current architecture? Aside from all that, I'm really liking SimpleX - clean, simple and SECURE!! =)
