The solution to satellites being predictable is more satellites. If the enemy can shoot down your satellites, they can shoot down your spy plane.

In my American school, the bulk of the gifted and talented program was better-behaved, wealthier children, with homemaker mothers. They were the talented seat fillers. The handful of gifted children were taken out of class for one-on-one instruction.

everybody in the class has parents that beat them for coming home with a B.

Oh, dear. As a child you just assumed that was true, didn’t you?

You’re describing actual burnout. But gifted child burnout is different. It’s laziness cultivated by an early childhood where the child was praised for their intelligence, rather than for effort or ambition. When the child eventually reaches a point where they would have to expend significant effort to succeed, they do not, as it is alien to their conception of self-worth. To an outside observer, that, due to their own belief in the myth of meritocracy, expected a lifetime of great achievements from the child solely due to the child’s intelligence, it appears as if the child has burned out.

What’s wrong with being a bigot? Seems like you’re bigoted against your fellow bigots. Self-hate is unhealthy, you should make an effort to practice mindfulness.
