I love swimming for that reason yeah. I'd do it a lot more if I had easier access to a pool. I had been looking into places near me to go to but it's hard to find times that work for it. Might get a little easier once the kids are a little older and we could take them easier.

More importantly though, that's not being the people in the joke. It might not feel like it, but there is a big difference between seeing someone struggling with a limitation that you also struggle with and offering something that helped you, and someone who has no idea what you're going through pulling a suggestion out of their ass and making it sound easy. It hits different when your suggestion comes from a place of seeing a shared struggle and mentioning what helped you.

This is probably the worst part mentally about chronic joint pain for me. i want to be active, I want to lose weight, but I'm sitting here maxing out what I can physically handle just doing my everyday stuff. On a GOOD day I get about 3k steps in and I'm feeling it for days after. It's so goddamn demoralizing.

Then in my case I'm also taking care of my partner whose health has been declining and 3 autistic kids. It feels like I'm barely keeping up.

That can't be right. I swear it was just Monday like 25 minutes ago.

Yep, better to keep 10 people that need assistance from getting it than have a single person get it that doesn't need it hard enough. Totally would never work to just give it to everybody and get it back in taxes on the back end if people that got it didn't "need" it.

Not even true on it's own merit either. If it was, then food deserts wouldn't be linked to increased rates of obesity.

My partner has face blindness, mine is one of a handful of faces that she recognizes on their own because I have a facial feature that's distinctive enough that she recognizes it. So I am a frequent character in her dreams. Luckily she's not the type to get mad at me for something I did in her dreams.

That's what I got from it yeah. Basically "I don't pass as girl, therefore I boymode." Random stranger goes "Damn girl, you got some nice tits." Which made her happy because she thought she didn't pass at all.

Messing with the wheels can too if your plan isn't leaving it sitting on cinder blocks. A runaway tire can do some damage at speed. Or if heaven forbid the vehicle rolls. Definitely wouldn't want that to happen.

Shitposting aside, we did literally amend our constitution because FDR won too many times. I'm sure that had nothing at all to do with New Deal policies and they were just real concerned about accidentally having a king again.
