Because it didn't make financial sense for them to buy it. The last I read up on the matter it seemed like Musk has lost quite a bit of money on it since he took over. Literally the ONLY reason Musk bought it was because he got into a pissing contest with the previous owners after he claimed he could run it better. He actually tried to back out of the deal a number of times but there was some kind of legal reason he was obligated to buy it after he made an offer

I've never tried this personally, but I've seen a lot of articles and videos where they say the conductive coating under the buttons can wear out and cause them to become unresponsive and they were able to fix it by applying some graphite dry lubricant

Again though, I've never tried it myself so you may want to do your own research first

It's supposed to be a sketchbook I think. The pattern I got was not the best and some of the backstitching it suggested is bordering on microscopic lol it was supposed to have lines on it like notebook paper almost. Also Michaels coffee mug is supposed to say "BEST BOSS" but I got two letters in and realized it was completely illegible

I had this same issue lol eventually I picked the first thing on the list and just started. Once you get into it and finish one thing the next one won't seem so overwhelming to get started on
