I just don’t believe anything any jew says anymore, I assume everything is a lie and start from there.

So, let’s take Albert Einstein, he is an ethnic jew because his parents are Ashkenazi jews. Great, then what is the difference between him and any other German person living in the same period? What are the non-religious traditions he followed that other germans didn’t do?

To me Einstein is german, was born in Germany, spoke german, went to german schools etc…

If we really want to split israeli and judaism we should start by saying that zionist created a nation, created a language and a culture (white culture) from a religion with the purpose to con the world into thinking they are related to people living 2000 years ago. If we talk about genetics, recent data show:

more than 80% of Ashkenazi mtDNAs had their origins thousands of years ago in Western Europe, during or before Biblical times—and in some cases even before farming came to that part of the continent some 7500 years ago.

So, to me, these are europeans who practice judaism.

I don’t care about your opinions, you proved yourself as a liar and you are keep lying and distorting reality.

If someone is reading this, this above is called HASBARA (aka israeli propaganda) and mr. FishFace is practicing it perfectly. Please learn to spot it, they just want to waste your time.

As such, we see already that hasbara is big and institutional, and not just the work of a few groups that really care about “Israel’s” reputation. It’s part of a large network — when you start discussing the destruction of Kamal Adwan Hospital and some random user comments that actually, there was a Hamas command center under it? That’s hasbara. It’s not innocent: they know that this is false, but they still persist.

More about Hasbara

If it is really an ethnicity, what does a jew from israel, usa and poland have in common? Language, tradition, society and history are all different. Things in common? Jewish religion.

Ethnicity is also closely tied to nationalism, to a common land that shapes the shared experience of it. And if you say israel, we can close the conversation here.

Can you give me an example of ethnic jew that doesn’t follow the religion? What does it mean to be born ethnically jew?

Not a reasonable characterisation? Why don’t you post about the Lehi, so everyone can judge by themselves? Allow me:

Lehi, officially the Fighters for the Freedom of Israel and often known pejoratively as the Stern Gang, was a Zionist paramilitary militant organization founded by Avraham ("Yair") Stern in Mandatory Palestine. Its avowed aim was to evict the British authorities from Palestine by use of violence, allowing unrestricted immigration of Jews and the formation of a Jewish state. It was initially called the National Military Organization in Israel, upon being founded in August 1940, but was renamed Lehi one month later. The group referred to its members as terrorists and admitted to having carried out acts of terrorism.

Lehi split from the Irgun militant group in 1940 in order to continue fighting the British during World War II. It initially sought an alliance with Fascist Italy and Nazi Germany. Believing that Nazi Germany was a lesser enemy of the Jews than Britain, Lehi twice attempted to form an alliance with the Nazis, proposing a Jewish state based on "nationalist and totalitarian principles, and linked to the German Reich by an alliance".

In April 1948, Lehi and the Irgun were jointly responsible for the massacre in Deir Yassin of at least 107 Palestinian Arab villagers, including women and children.

On 29 May 1948, the government of Israel, having inducted its activist members into the Israel Defense Forces, formally disbanded Lehi, though some of its members carried out one more terrorist act, the assassination of Folke Bernadotte some months later

I have highlighted the ““problematic”” parts of the genocidal colonial project.

You are a pathetic coward ignorant who uses dead children to bend history with your disgusting lies.

Now reply my questions liar: who put a family in an oven after the end of WWII in 1948?

While holding villagers in the bakery hostage, Zionist soldiers ordered the baker, Hussein al-Shareef from the town of Lydd, to throw his son Abdul Rauf into the burning oven. After refusing, the soldiers knocked Hussein to the ground and proceeded to throw Abdul Rauf into the oven while his father watched.

“Follow your son. He needs you there,” said one of the soldiers before throwing Hussein in next.

Zionist are the scum of the earth

I give them 3 solutions: either leave Palestine, make living together work or die.

the bulk of funding for Iron Dome was given at a time when, while Israel was justifiably criticised for breaches of international law, it was not committing a genocide

STOP LYING. israel is a supremacist colonial project from the start. If you don’t know stuff, just open wikipedia, search for Lehi. Then come back here and tell me what it says.

You are not reading eh? IT IS conflating the two, you are just mad at the wrong people.

Zionist deeply conflated their supremacist ideology with judaism 100 or so years ago. This way, if someone criticises you, you can call him antisemantic and go on with your ethnic cleansing.

But it’s more than conflating, it’s hijacking it, because often many zionists in power positions don’t call themselves zionists but jews. Again this is a shield.

Do you want to be a practicing jew without all the lying, stealing, pedophilia, blackmailing and genocide? Be my guest.

Aren’t you tired to be lied to your face every day on every fucking platform? Do you think is okay to lie so you can massacre kids?

Instead of your pointless rhetorical questions, answer mine please.

Bro stop it with the whataboutism.

We are talking about judaism here. These religious people are shielded and protected by media and politicians, it is taboo to criticise the jews in the west. This is wrong.

[–] PastaCannon@lemmy.ml 4 points 9 hours ago (3 children)

(͡•_ ͡• ) uh?

Yes, judaism is treated like a special taboo religion that can’t be criticised. It’s not special and it should be criticised heavily.

You can tag me whatever makes your ego feel better. I guess everything goes (including insults) but discuss the topic and reply the questions. You just proved my point ahahah

[–] PastaCannon@lemmy.ml 1 points 11 hours ago (6 children)

No sorry, being black and being jewish is not the same. You can stop being jewish if you want, you can’t stop being black lol

Judaism is a religion and not an ethnicity. A white person from NEW JERSEY putting a tiny hat doesn’t change his ethnicity.

A jew in New Jersey is an american (location) following judaism (religion).

A jew in Palestine is a semite/arab (location) following judaism (religion).

Again, I didn’t conflate them, israel is a self proclaimed jewish supremacists state.
