I mean. You already pay for your road and the ambulance that can drive down it to save your life. Why would you pay more to utilise the same overburdened service? Unless you're going to pay to build a hospital, fire station, etc. what's the point? And then the maintenance bills. Libertarians cannot wait to spend all of their money on things we currently help them pay for. (I'm Canadian by the way, just to explain the paid ambulance part)
Looking at the comments lately, it's very obvious that Lemmy inherited the last exodus of 4chan and the scum pool that is left of Reddit. Why do so many people not grow up? Why are so many people internally immature? Why the fuck do we have to deal with their inadequacies? Arguing a joke is utter nonsense. Do you not get that? It's a joke. It's already nonsense. I get what you're saying. And I get that movies only get made if they make money. However, things like this need to be brought to younger generations. People have forgotten too much generation to generation. The most insane of us have inherited it from their fathers. Hatred that bides its time until it can masquerade as order. Every generation needs to know why and what the generations previously fought hard for. So, let's just keep making movies. In a thousand years someone might find a way to access an archive and ignite (yet another) fight for simple freedom.

I was born in the late 80s and they had so much fun that we could smell it throughout the 90s. Maybe even into the early 00s.
Those numbers are off. It takes me about half an hour to cook a meal. I clean while things are cooking if I can. And it takes me about the same time to eat. I get that it's a joke, but it's entirely unrealistic unless you're doing things very wrong.
