My reddit account got a strike by an admin for describing the risks involved in traveling to the USA currently (abduction, torture for an undetermined amount of time). The appeal I made to that was accepted but it left a sour taste in my mouth.
Used to save up for a house but prices are rising faster than I can save up and soon I'd be in debt for the rest of my life if I did buy one.
So now I'm just saving up so I won't have money troubles living a simpler life. Small rented apartment, don't have to worry about not having enough money to buy food or pay the bills. Can spend a certain amount on entertainment and other leisure each month and I have a sizable buffer in case I become unemployed.

My current setup works perfectly fine, haven't bricked my system in half a decade.

Wir sehen immer häufiger dass sich Loyalität zum Arbeitgeber einfach nicht (mehr?) lohnt. Es wird auf Familie getan, aber bei Problemen wird man schnell fallen gelassen. Gute Arbeit wird meist mit mehr Arbeit belohnt. Mehr Gehalt? Erreiche erst mal diese völlig aus der Luft gegriffenen und unerreichbaren Ziele, dann können wir in zwei Jahren mal über eine Anpassung reden, die nicht mal die Inflation ausgleicht!
Wer vorankommen will,erreicht dies heutzutage weitaus einfacher über einen Jobwechsel.
Manche Personen verursachen mehr Klima Schäden an einem Tag als ich in mehreren Jahren, da fällt es durchaus schwer sich noch weiter einzuschränken.
