Actually they’ve been here for a very long time.

DeBird is the oldest commercial ML/Audio product I know. It’s around since 2017.

Accentize plugins are the commercial ones.

Also there’s a Waves one.

Nvidia’s RTX Voice can do it in real time since 2020.

And lastly on the open-source end, there’s Intel’s OpenVino for Audacity.

Isn’t there a class named ‘Arithmancy’? I always assumed it’s math for wizardkind.

I wonder how safe is Apple ecosystem from this.

It’s actually a pretty good idea to have a full system snapshot time to time, where the project can compile successfully, for future Virtual Machine use. It’s usually easier to spin a VM than setting up the whole dev environment from scratch.

Gonna give another interesting take,

RATM’s eponymous album considered to have one of the best Mix and Master ever, so we sound engineers use that exact track to test and calibrate different sound systems. I always play Killing in the Name first to hear what’s different in a sound system. I’m sure me only contributed around 5k of that stat over the years.

Good luck finding anything fanless without being SOC. Though it looks like a Framework would make you happy: https://frame.work/

“Actual person” was the developer’s brother.

I have a better proposal: let’s disable JavaScript in it’s entirety so it wouldn’t require 8 gb ram and a 2 gHz multicore cpu on my mobile device that runs on battery, to send a simple ‘hello’ to my friends.

Man, there’s like no day I don’t see another high quality version of this meme on Lemmy.

How many different upscaled versions do you people have exactly?

There are lots of problems with the new lingo. We need to come up with new words.

How about “Open Weightings”?

Hey SteamDeck’ers, As we're all aware that Valve broke Remote Play on SteamDeck and hasn't fixed it yet. I'm seeing lots of people having their sound cut off few minutes into streaming, or having lots of ghost input with bluetooth controllers.

However, there are two other options that work well, and sometimes even better than Remote Play.

First, if you're using SteamDeck with a TV and have an Android or Apple TV, consider using the Steam Link app instead. It's still great!

Second, you can use Moonlight to stream directly to SteamDeck. Find Moonlight in Discover (SteamOS desktop appstore) in Desktop mode. Installing it is just that easy.

You will also need to install Sunshine, the Server counterpart as well on your PC.

Moonlight is a great replacement to NVIDIA's now retired GameStream and works with any GPU with the help of Sunshine. In fact, it offers smoother visuals compared to Steam Remote Play, also offers HDR support on supported TVs.

Happy streaming!
