Classic that John came back on part-time after attempting retiring. I find a kind of comfort in entertainment that addresses current events; it’s like, reality-validating, maybe I could say?

Some of those shows have been going on for many years. Any opinion on how they have changed over time? I’m not sure if you watch the most current or do you skip back in time, maybe there is a “golden era”.

That’s amazing, i like how there are details like room for cargo, I would’ve loved to put all sorts of little items and figures on the train cars as a kid

What kind of train toy was it, did you have the whole setup, maybe like with those wooden rails and stations?

Ugh that is such a rough process, can feel so demotivating, and it’s an especially tough market for that field right now. I’m sure your friend has some strengths that will help them meet this challenge - they have you for social support, for example!

Hey, those aren’t just any trinkets, those are my Incredibly Specific Brand Limited Edition Single-Release Collector’s trinkets which you could only get from attending a specific convention in May of 2009.

Sorry for your work lost! I swear I have to let myself go through a mourning period before I can start frogging. I switch to another project for a while once I decide I want to frog this one. I’ve noticed that it helps me reflect on my progress as a knitter and how I am improving the final work by restarting.
