@metallic_substance@lemmy.world calls the whole instance, or rather their users dipshits, has no argument, only ad hominem.

@finitebanjo@lemmy.world offers insults involving cocks, not sure what‘s up with that, but that sure is another ad hominem without any argument.

@finitebanjo@lemmy.world just doesn‘t take reality seriously, but thinks he‘s being clever by making fun of people that argue against capitalism.

@gabbath@lemmy.world has similar delusions about imperialism

Both are unserious people that have not a single original thing to offer, except ridicule towards more serious people.

I absolutely misread the comment about „the best way to nuke any lefty community“ by @Gsus4@feddit.nl and therefore edited it out of my original comment.

Anyway, the observation is, that this community is oozing with toxic behaviour, circlejerking on another group of people that they obviously don‘t even try to understand, but are afraid of and want to exlude or „get rid off“. Void of any arguments. This shit is what ignorant people do.

@goat@sh.itjust.works (you, mod) stays superficial in their reaction on the content itself only to construct a strawman about a group that wasn‘t mentioned with an argument that wasn‘t made. — but, this might have been an honest interpretation, alright.

Btw, goat, what is „ignorance“ in its political manifestation, if not the foundation of fascism? We should do better. You should do better. This place is a disgrace to any kind of intellectual discourse and the fediverse as a whole. You‘re modding a community driven by blind hatred.

It‘s nice that you want that kind of explanation, but that‘s not what I offered. You can argue strawmen all day, but your question wasn‘t asked.

What I’m saying is, that what Ukraine wants is just wholly irrelevant, as two nuclear powers have to figure out some stuff between themselves.

What’s up, smelling some conspiracy?  OMG, you might just be on to something!

Or, go figure, my native language could just use definitive articles for what is just „Ukraine“ in the English language and I just made a grammatical mistake, which has nothing to do with the content of what has been said. How about you engage with that instead.

I didn‘t call anyone fascist directly, but rather described what they are doing in reality as fascist — in a facetious way, sure, but nonetheless the truth®.

IMO, enlightened centrists are not equal to liberals, as that kind of category describes people that reject any kind of extreme position, while also laying claim on what is and what isn‘t the right thing to do or think and where these borders are to be drawn, all while being unable to break through their own biases and misconceptions … and always (!) end up personally attacking their opponent or argue against strawmen.

Autocratic extremists in their own right. Destructive overall and enablers of fascist thought and therefore enablers of fascist realities.

Here, in this very thread, we have folks, that are very likely economically oppressed themselves, but also refuse to actually educate themselves or can‘t stand to get educated by people that genuinely try to improve society. They rather ridicule the people, that use words like „capitalism“ or „imperialism“, as if those words weren‘t real things that shape the world we all live in, trying to „win“ in the name of their perspective, while also ignoring half the equation. ~~Or that guy that downright wants to „nuke all leftist communities“. But surely, no fascists in sight.~~

I have the suspicion, that you are indeed actually unable to understand. I‘m so sorry. But you seem to know what a cock is, nice! Guess that‘s something, you go!

You saying the enlightened centrists are planning a fascist counter revolution?

The irony of naming an instance .world and then forcing western hegemonial culture on it. Just like in the real world.

Guess where we are right now.

Du hast vielleicht schon mal „Scratch a Liberal, see a Nazi bleed“ irgendwo gehört. Try me.
