Which would make sense that my IT career led me to cyber security. But really she wasn't strict since I didn't live with my dad and the only time we ever really interacted was when she helped me upgrade my GPU to play Phantom Menace (still funny I pre-ordered it, but it took months to get it working right), their house just had cable Internet while my mom had dialup until I was a junior in highschool.

My real mom is the reason I'm sneaky and paranoid.

I don't think you're wrong that it contributed. If nothing else, the GOP used it in their brainwashing to brand all liberals as being like them.

I literally heard Fox News use that logic not long ago to say that liberals are the reason why a child molester claimed he was trans when arrested for flashing children in a locker room.

There's a group of rabid crazies that think that a woman can never consent to having sex with a man (because of the patriarchy). In their minds, any man who has sex with a woman is a rapist.

It's ironically one of the most sexist beliefs against women I've ever heard.

Yeah, it's part of the reason I'm so good with IT. My stepmom was the systems engineer, and I had to figure out ways to get around her blocks and hide my tracks.

It's closer to 80/20

Nah, he very clearly has dementia, and has had it for a while now.

They haven't been hiding it well. His dementia was apparent even in 2016.

Being toxic to customers is probably counter indicated in the employee handbook, especially for a retail chain.

Your management could have written them up for it 3 times then fired them, but they couldn't be bothered to do the paperwork.

I just stopped talking to those relatives.

Not really, no. Shyness is more akin to anxiety, and not engaging in conversations doesn't automatically mean it's an anxious behavior.

Introverts aren't the way they are because they're shy or have anxiety about participating in social situations. That's just social anxiety, and introversion and social anxiety are not mutually inclusive.

This person really just seems like they're fairly in the middle of the introvert/extravert spectrum.

That's not necessarily true. I've asked to join meetings that were only tangentially related to my department so I knew what was being worked on so I could do my job effectively if they needed me.

But I'm usually working during most meetings.

That'll definitely save money.
